Vladimir Toms (1900-1935)
At the urging of his supporter, Marie Musilova, Toms decided on the career of concert and opera singer. After a year at the Ostrava theater, he joined the cast of the National Theater in Prague. He continued to make frequent concert appearances with the Slavoj in Chrudim. His career was cut short by pernicious illness. He is buried in the family plot in the St. Vaclav cemetery.
