Two formerly independent buildings comprise this structure, which attained the present appearance through the work of Chrudim builders Josef and Frantisek Stanek. Entry is through the larger of the buildings, known as "Boleslav." Jan Hendrych Pfeiffer owned the building in mid-17th century, well-known from history of Miraculous painting.

In 1804 the Kotzinka merchant family had a shop here. The indebted building was by the later mayor Jan Martini in 1846. Martini bequeathed it to the local general hospital, which in turn sold it to the savings and loan bank in 1850, which rented office space to the city.
