When the sexton noticed the church brightly lit two nights in a row, he notified the parish priest with whom he entered the church on the third night. There at the altar in the lighted church they observed a still, kneeling, praying figure. The sexton and priest also knelt and prayed, then left. The ghost, said to be the spirit of Vaclav Samuel Hatas, priest and founder of the Savior cult then never returned.
